Unreal environment

As you will see the final product was very different to my initial ideas seen in sketchup drafts. This was due to the nature of Unreal editor and also modification throughout the design process.
The circle you can see at the end of the bride was original intended to spin. these were designed to bring the office to the client and thus creating a sense of "the world revolving around them.

This bridge with holes booleaned out represents the climb to power and sucess, filled with holes with a long way to fall

The dining area seen above is a costant reminder of the dog eat dog business world and while my clients are eating they too aare made aware o the continuous compition to their entirprise.
This shot allows you to see both my elevators and som of my custom matieral as well. but for the best view check it out yourself at http://files.filefront.com/z3255344tylersfinalutma

Materials (custom)

For my materials (or Textures) I have drawn:

7 x Linear

9 x Motion

8 x Scaler

3 x Gravity (custom)

3 x Growth (custom)

3 x Morph (custom)
I found Motion the hardest due the static nature of a drawing. I also tried to think about these textures as they would appear when tiled.

2 Point perspectives (Ass 3)

Often when drawing these i would draw a plan view or an axo first to get my head around the dimensions of the shape, i have kept these in some of the sketches when i uploaded as you can see.

Assesment 3 (Elevators)

In dealing with the concept of power the primary issue that is immediately realised is the context of ones power within the world and their surroundings. In the Versace/Zhang project the bridge is then pathway to the central "split" a T-intersection. To the left is Versace's path, to the right Zhang's but at the end of the road is not their office...yet. Once in place their office (attached to the surrounding sphere (see below images in "Asessment 3 skecthup draft")) comes to them. This creates a literal and metaphoric feeling of "the world revolving around them" plus its really cool. if you have ever been to questacon and walked out of the final ramp where the mirrored tube rotates around you, or even stopped next to a truck in your car and felt like you were moving backwards when their vehicle accelerates, you can appreciate the sense of motion whilst stationary that versace and Zhang will feel as the walls and roof (of the sphere) rotate around them.

(without Dome)

The third elevator is the link to the meeting place. To get here the two inhabitants meet in the center of the central T and the below elevator takes them to a place that is "on top of the world" using height as a postion of dominance and power. the circular surface itself is the mover.

(the materials i have applied are a combination of a dragon from http://www.coolbuddy.com/imgs/dragon.jpg and the versace symbol from http://img252.imageshack.us/img252/1672/medal5.jpgand are not my work)

Assessment 3 (sketchup draft)

This is the dining table that they share

These are the first 3D images of the outside of the Versace/Jobs place of occupation. These guys are sketchup models rendered with vray.

Assignment 3 (mashup)

Donatella Versace, Zhang Yin, Steve Jobs

Apple Computer (AAPL), the daughter of a businessman is now celebrating 30 years of Zhang Yin, who became a household name Wednesday morning for topping a recent list of China's richest people. Revolutionized, Extraordinary and a dressmaker to the aristocracy, Donatella was the youngest person with a fortune of 27 billion yuan (3.4 billion U.S. dollars). Donatella was the wildest of Nine Dragons and although Steve Jobs was a decade her senior, the two were close. Now Jobs is the wealthier one, accompanying Zhang (his evangelist brother) to discos and nightclubs. Jobs takes the 49-year-old founder and chairwoman of the paper company to discos to listen to music. Jobs (mainland's richest senior) launches to be wild, Jobs learned a long time ago that a leader is charismatic. Reports of her massive wealth were printed in morning newspapers yesterday in the Italian town of Reggio di Calabria. She once told an interviewer “it's his (Steve Jobs) fault” adding an extra 1.1 billion yuan (139 million U.S. dollars) to her assets. Anyone who has watched her massive and magnificent assets is transformed.
